really informative, thank you Radhia. Amazing that such an intelligent person once had a small view of nutrition and subsequent poor health only to then to become an expert in the field. I have a similar story - however wouldn't call myself an expert as haven't got my nutrition degree yet - but it's a year away. I'm going to start a sports and health food/supplement company and will definately have detoxification products (backed by scientific research!)

This is what I did for the last three months. I drank whole food green smoothies and the detoxing has had unintended positive side effects. I have much more energy and I feel cleaner inside. ;P

I'm moving towards being a 100% raw foodist. I think that it is very valuable to detox. I've learned that one really cannot advise family members as to how to eat, but my sister is interested in seeing a nutritionist in CA. What is the likelihood that other nutritionists will recommend detox?

I would like to detox from pop. I am eating better and heading down the road of nutrition and exercising. I would be interested to hear what other ways there are to detox in a healthy way.

You do what you can to survive.. after the chemo I think you can look into alternatives to help your body recover from the chemo therapy..
